Stage 1 complete - I am currently in receipt of all my statements for the last 6 years...This is 2 days worth!

The HSBC have messed up all the dates to make it harder for me to order them, but that's OK. I'm enjoying this!!!

Thanks, it is very comfy! Since I posted that, I have opened, and chronologically ordered all my statements. 2000-2006. I put them all in a lever arch file so I can access any date at the flick of a page. Most organised I've been in years - this may be really good for me!!

Just gotta go through and find all those pesky charges now!

HSCS have made an offer of £754.57. This is sort by £83.93. I am tempted to accept this in view of the costs to go via the Small Claims court...

Would that be sensible?

Should I accept of keep fighting?

Comments welcome!!!!

I'm kinda thinking that money claim online charge is £80, and the difference from there offer to my total is £83.93. I know I can add the 8% on to make it a claim of £986.10, but I don't want to risk account closure like some other members (SarahUK being one of them).

DECISION MADE - I'm accepting their offer. It's 95% of what I was claiming and as I have just sold my house, I could do without the hassle of persuing them further. It's more than I ever expected to get, so I am very happy with it.

BIG THANKS TO CAG - 5% on it's way once I receive the funds into my account.
