Over the weekend I used my debit card for about 100 pounds worth of transactions, however, about 166 pounds has been earmarked from my available balance - I'm with LTSB. Is it possible for items to be earmarked twice - especially as one of the transactions was in an automated petrol pump and two were abroad? LTSB swear blind it's impossible, but I'm not so sure - I agree it could be fraud, but they say they can't tell where the funds are going till they leave the account, which isn't much use.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Well, surprise surprise. £116 went out of my account today, so there's about £40 worth of earmarkings that have disappeared. And LTSB swear it's impossible... Hmmm... Good job the transactions cleared today or my rent cheque would have bounced...

Im with lloyds and it happens to me all the time, for some reason some things get ear marked twice but then, thankfully, only come out once. Can be a right pain in the old derriere when you need the funds its locking up
