Hi there,

i have a friend who, with a few fellow ex-employees, is taking his old employers to court for wrongful dismissal. There have been a few preliminary hearings but they are now waiting for a court date for the main case. My question is that Barry has told me that the courts are only using his case (in his name) as the main case as opposed to all of the cases at the same time, has anyone any idea why this is so? His thinking is that maybe the Judge is using his case as a sort of 'test case' before passing judgement on the other cases? Apparently the other couple of ex-employees cases are extremely similar to that of Barry's!

All answers would be greatly appreciated, Thankyou...

Chill! Theres no paid employees manning the forum!

Its likely that the full title of the case will be Barry & ors v Employer... is his surname the first alphabetically?

If all the cases are the same, its likely that they'll be heard together...
