Ok worked out what they owed me and sent the Initial letter off. Got the stand blurge that they wont do anything until the test case.

 

However they are now ring me and my wife up threatening not to pay bills now.

 

 

Any advice. My big worry is they wont pay our mortgages

 

It such a struglle when they start adding fees

Hiya Intercity welcome to the HSBC forum :),

 

unfortunately there is no way you can force them to look at your claim or pay direct debits if there are insufficient funds in your account even if this has been caused by the banks own charges.

 

The only thing I can suggest is to open a "parachute" account with another bank and get your wages/benefit payments transfered to the new account together with your direct debit's etc before HSBC get their hands on any more of your money.
