I recently had a d/d go out which made my account go over my limit by £2, I deposited funds the same working day to clear back under my limit but Halifax still want to charge me a £30.00 fee as the letter said.

On my statement it does not show at any time my account being over it's limit for that day.

Any one know ?

IT IS MINE !!!!!!!!

Is this fair ? it's the Bank we are talking about, no it's not.

I'm sure you have to have clear funds in your account the day BEFORE any D/D comes out.

Claim it back.

Regards.

Scott.
