The first time I received a Parking Charge Notice from a private company, (the offense being parking outside my house on a quiet road on a sunday) I paid it, because of my ignorance at the time. Since then I have discovered this forum, and had success in making 5 subsequent tickets go away.

However, I would like to reclaim the £60 I paid to Central Ticketing. I don't know how likely success would be if I attempt this, and also would like some advice on how I could get the process started. Any comments / suggestions would be most welcome.

Thanks in advance,

Neil

I'd like to give it a go, or at least to explore the possible options. It doesn't seem much different to recovering bank or credit card charges. It has to at least be worth sending a few letters off demanding money back...

Its not different. Its very similar caselaw.

My sticky at the top of the forum contains my email address. Send me an email with a land line number and we'll have a chat.
