I contacted capital one over the phone & asked them to send me details of all charges on my account.

rcd a letter today confirming they have stolen £516 from me, which i would like returning.

my question is, shall i send a prelim now or send a DPA letter asking if any manual intervention has occurred? the reason i'm asking is that i dont have any details about manual intervention with the letter i have rcd today.

what should i do?

Preliminary letter.

And whatever you do, don't use the word 'stolen' in your letter
