There are no balconies in Romeo and Juliet's "balcony scene". Juliet appears above at a window is all it says in the text.

Just thought you should know.

Why would she be climbing up the outside of a building, was she a cat burglar in her spare time?

Juliet appears above at a window

I assume she was at the window on the inside of the building

Assuming Willy Wotsisname meant us to assume that. Too many assumptions for my liking

We already know Romeo was outside. If she appeared at the window then it must have been from the inside, otherwise she would have already been on the outside in the first place. Surely that's what Willy meant?

Anyway, the important thing is that there was no balcony.
