  • 9 months later...

All I wanted to do was to use the existing BT number at the house I was moving to!!

I thought it was a logical, easy procedure.

No - the "new system" randomly generates a new number every time.

After several phone calls (to God knows where), countless different people every time and endless menu options, my endurance ebbed into oblivion. I decided to email a complaint.

Even then they still thought I wanted to keep my old number from the previous house!!

3 emails later I was assured that Customer Services would make sure I could use the number.

I am now waiting until this friday to see if my actions have worked - I have a feeling I will be given a brand new number. Communications eh?
