I jut sent a complaint to my bank Abbey about something and basically because it included the word "charge" they have sent me a standard letter saying that the complaint was on hold because it concerns in their opinion "the level, fairness or lawfulness of the charges" (it doesn't!) but it has given me a thought.

They also state "we have asked the FSA to suspend the normal tiemtable for dealing with bank charge complaints, and the FSA has agreed to this request...." THEREFORE... surely they are not allowed to charge us at the moment also as their charges should surely also be suspended pending the outcome of the court case?? Perhpas we should request this of the FSA ?
