I've got a couple of queries about CCA requests.

Firstly, if they cannot provide a legitimate CCA and the debt is unenforcable, where does that leave the default or CCJ marked on your credit file associated with it?

Can it be removed as the debt isn't efforceable? If not, even though the debt isn't enforceable and still exists, will the CCJ or default entry be removed after the 6 years from date of default/judgement or not as the debt is still there?

hope that makes sense :)

Yes they have to remove it, you will have to request it though

Good luck with everything :)

Unfortunately i'm not an expert in any given field legally and my advice and that of the Consumer Action Group and the Bank Action Group is given without prejudice and without liability so please if in any doubt whatsoever seek help from an insured qualified professional. Contents of my posts are purely my own personal opinions and not condoned or endorsed in any way, shape or form by CAG. Thank you! :p

I have been smoke-free for 4yrs
