Hi There

My problem again is with the halifax at present. Had to make reduced payments to a loan with them due to our mortgage payments increasing double since the ending of a special rate. They hounded me to make bigger and bigger payments which I couldnt afford and had constant phone calls 4 times a day at least from their DCA Albion collections.

Then because I bank with the halifax they were calling in my overdraft.

had to agree to make payments of £240 a month to pay it off even though I couldnt afford and I told them this.

I have transfered my wages so they are paid into my partners account until I can sort out my own basic account but they continue to harass me for both debts, it got that bad that I kicked off with one lady that rang me on a Sunday morning and told her to remove my telephone number from their records and contact me in writing only, which eventually she did after quoting data protection.

My problem now is that they have been ringing my parents at least 4 times a day for the last week due to this being the last phone number they had for me.

I have complained direct to the Halifax but have not heard anything for 2 weeks.

Has anyone got any advice on what to do next as I am detemined to go all the way with this whatever it takes to sort this once and for all

Thanks in advance

Simon

Send the telephone harassment letter (it's in the library somewhere) to stop the calls.

Regarding the loan you may want to send them a CCA. Might shut them up for a bit
