Got a letter from BC and W acting on behalf of Thames credit for a debt I am suppose to owe for a Halifax/BOS card. I sent of the letter asking for a copy of the cca agreement and a PO for £1 on 24/8 and got a letter back from BC&W on 29 Aug saying that they do not hold credit agreements in their office as they are not the creditor and that they have asked their client to forward this to me. They also sent me back my £1 postal order.

I've waited the 12+2 days and have not heard anything from anyone since. Any ideas where I should go from here. Are they in default now?

Thanks for any advice you all may have on this.

YEP! In default. Stop payment. Wait for threat and then ask for further advise!

Just for info.... They are in default of Section 78(1) of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.

Keep us posted!

Regards, Dave.
