  1. I bought a dash cam from wish.com and when it arrived I realised that it wasn't a 1080p camera as advertised it was only 720p. I returned the item, but wish will only refund the initial outlay and will not cover the cost of my return. I have pointed out to them that they should be covering this cost also seeing as the goods were misrepresented but they won't change their stance. I will probably write off the money seeing as it is only £2.79. They seem to be based in San Fransisco (though also have an address in Amsterdam), would they be covered under the Consumer Contracts Regulations or the Consumer Rights Act. Also who would I report their business practises to if they are covered, Trading standards?

  3. Hi all, I about to come into some money, quite substanial amount. I owe £100k to 14 creditors (all credit cards) and have a CCJ from HFC/Marbles and they are about to obtain a charging order on my property (paid £5 ccj payment week late and now up to date). Most of the creditors have been ok with reduced payments but some nightmare i.e. HFC/Marbles. I realise I will have to pay full ccj amount but how much can i offer the others as full & final? My credit history will be pants for the next 6 years anyway !!!! Regards
  4. Hi New to these forums, so Hope I am posting in correct section. I have recently got my credit files and have noticed I have a couple of defaulted accounts. One is defaulted in august 2009 and owe £528.00. I've been told after 6 years (august 2015) this will be removed from my file. However If I pay this account off now, ie pay the £528.00 I owe, will it start the 6 years again from date of payment before removed from my file or will it still be 6 years from original default date AUGUST 2009. Many Thanks for anybody who replies Adam
  5. I don't wish to attend my disciplinary meeting. I've suffered from anxiety/depression for years and I don't feel up to it. I am expecting to be sacked anyway and wouldn't go back even if I wasn't sacked. They've not given me much notice. Can I send them a letter which they'll likely receive on the day of the planned meeting saying that I am unavailable and that they have permission to go ahead without me? Thanks.
  6. At this moment in time,I really wish to exchange my brother!
