  1. The country has waited a long time to see Tony Blair’s face when this report comes out, there are suggestions that he should be stripped of all honours given to him, to sit on the Privy Council-who advise the Queen, and the title of ‘Right Honourable’ which he is not. Blair lied to the British people and to parliament (with the aid of his side kick Campbell, they should both be taken to court for starting an illegal war, which killed nearly 7,500 Iraq civilians plus the lives of 179 British servicemen and women, which also enabled the rise of ISS. Blair took absolutely no notice of experts and his cabinet so that he could make the case for war. If he is found guilty of lying then he should face the full force of the law. I have been reading a book called Broken Vows –Tony Blair the tragedy of power, by Tom Bower. It is a real eye opener in relation to his total time in power, and I have to say Brown was also responsible for what went wrong during the Labour years, by the shear animosity between them.
  2. Hi, it's been a while since i posted but i got some great help with my ESA tribunal before so thought it couldn't hurt to ask. I haven't done much preparation assuming i'll be fine but i'd really like to get the PIP, it'll mean more freedom and the potential to do some form of work, even voluntary. I was advised by my job center adviser to apply and got help from welfare rights with the application. I just wondered if there was anything to be aware of, is it a very strict assessment, are they trying to catch you out like the ESA? Will they have access to my evidence from the ESA tribunal and things like that? Thanks!
  3. the BBC is doing a consumer rights programme next wednesday at 20.00 on BBC1 about private parking companies. It is called "your money their tricks" so settle down in front of the box and see what is given a wide public airing. I am looking forward to it.
  4. Those nice people at Snapper TV have made a documentary for the BBC, about local authorities and their use of CCTV for apparent violations by the unwary public and the revenue made from it. ... 'They claim they do it to keep the traffic flowing smoother. But private emails obtained by Panorama reveal a different story, with officials congratulating each other on the number of tickets issued: 'Another record month, guys. Well done,' says one. The programme visits the box junction where the council fines so many drivers - 29,000 last year alone;... A link to the programme. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b02xcnpr
  5. Just spotted this in this week's T.V. listings. "The legalities (or otherwise) of coucil parking fines." It may be worth watching.
