I have received a charge for leaving a car park 52 seconds too late According to the time on my clock we returned to the car park before 6pm. By the time we had loaded the boot with pushchair, then put our young 2 year old daughter into the car, we did vacate the parking spot before 6pm and in fact left the car park according to my clock before 6pm but their camera picture states 6pm and 52 seconds. I am really annoyed. Also even if their time is correct that is still only 52 seconds over , the picture they show is with the car on the giveway waiting to exit the car park on to the road 6pm and 52 seconds. This is absolutely scandalous. I have no intention in paying fine , any feedback appreciated.

Hi All I recently went to Luton on a training course whilst there mistakenly drove down a bus lane in Park street then on into one in Church street. I have received 3 PCN's for this 2 for Park street and one for Church street, I have had one cancelled for Park street but the other 2 still stand as the lady in Luton parking services said I should of turned around at the end of Park street. at the time as I am not local to the area I did not see that as an option. 2 of the PCN's had a time of 16:36 and the third 16:37 all for £60 (£30 if paid in 14 days). I don't dispute the first one but how do I stand on the last one? Cheers Buttsb

Got a PCN charge for £100 for a duration of 31 minutes where the first 30 minutes was free. Looking at the actual time stamps the car was in the car park (not parked) for 95 seconds. I have sent the usuall response i.e. informing them there is no way they have suffered a loss for the car being in the car park for 95 seconds. However. I have subsequently found out that you are now supposed to obtain a ticket for the free period. They have only very recently changed their signeage to reflect this. For the past number of years this has never been the case before. On going back and looking at the signage it states that parking starts 5 minutes after entering the carpark meaning the car was only there for around 26 minutes. I have no intention of paying this so the main question is "Can they realistically issue a charge for not displaying a ticket especially as their signage clearly states 30 minutes, a big notice on the machine says "please pay for your stay" and then in small print informs you actually need to get a ticket. If a big sign says 30 minutes free and sign at the ticket machined says "please pay for your stay" I would deduce that becuase you stay for less than 30 minutes you dont need to pay therefore there is no need to get a ticket. They are essentially charging me £100 for not getting a ticket. I beat them last time when I dared them to take me to court but it is just hassle and un necessary stress.

my husband parked on a single yellow line on our high street during restricted hours. He drove off as he was spotted by the PA . Today we got a PCN stating the LA belives a PC is payable due to being parked in a restricted street during prescrivbed hours. He was observed from 10.18-10.19 and notice states PA had started to issue a notice but he drove off. Can they enforce this even if he was stopped /observed for just 60 seconds? He had nowhere to park and had to drop off some urgent packages to post office. Thank you for any input on this as we are not sure what our position is..
