In February this year, I called several Double Glazing companies, one of them being Safestyle Windows, to give me a quote for, you guessed it, new windows on the front of my house. Safestyle confirmed an appointment with me for the following weekend, saying that they would call 30 minutes before the appointment to make sure I hadn't changed my mind - a little strange I thought, seeing as when I make an appointment I always keep it. I'm new to this and don't know if I have posted in the right place. Last year I had new doors and windows from Safestyle UK. The salesman persuaded me to take 12 months interest free credit arranged through Barclays Partner Finance with the advice to "pay it off or get a cheaper loan". There was no discussion about affordability and no income/expenditure assessment. My (then) partner assured me that he would pay the full amount before it came due. Hi, My PVC windows have started leaking and i've had to remove the plaster etc to find the problem. Imagine my suprise when i saw this when i removed the plastic facia on the windows: [ATTACH=CONFIG]39913[/ATTACH] These were installed by Safestyle around 4 years ago Do you think they will fix these if i contact them, or try and fob me off?

Recently went out for quotes for a number of windows to be replaced with UPVC double glazed. Safestyle were fastest in response and initially we were impressed with the salesman who visited. He did the - here's my quote but I may get a better price after talking to my boss etc etc. In the end we were quoted a price much lower than we had expected, nearly half the nearest competitor, so we agreed to proceed.
