Hi everybody, I have a van Toyota Hiace from 2004. I bought it this summer (July) and from the beginning I regularly bring it to my garage. I spent around £700 in 7 months for maintenance. Initially I did a general service, i changed some mechanical parts, tyres, and recently I did the MOT. A couple of months ago the orange light of the oil turned on, i checked the oil and it was full. I spoked with my mechanic about it and about the fact that the van was doing some smoke at the start. The mechanic cleaned the filters and told me that the light was probably caused by an electric malfu -
Hello, I am currently under a 17 hours per week contract. However, over the last six months or more, I have consistently worked 6.5 hours extra per week. I have heard that this regularly worked overtime becomes a contract because it was over a period of time? If true, can anyone point me in the direction of UK Employment law that supports this? Hi, My friend is in need of some advice so I am helping her look for a solution She is a care worker for a family, employed by a company to look after a child needing 24hr care There are meant to be at team of 4 working shifts however they can't seem to keep people employed So there are 2 regular careers inc I'm friend and bank staff / agency staff when they can get them My friend only has a 30hr contract but is expected to work 40-50 hours every week and has for over a year now They are doing this so she is not entitled to a full time holiday pay surely this can't be
