Upon finishing college and gaining qualifications in IT ( Level 3 BTEC National Diploma for IT Practitioners (systems support) – Triple Distinction Star) my son has been employed as a trainee ICT Technician for the past 4 years at a school (academy).   2. I'm hoping someone can help me with a query on my jsa being sanctioned for failing to apply for jobs i'm not qualified for!! Basically when i signed on i was told my job search activity log did not include any applications for jobs in the last fortnight....i explained to my advisor that all applicable vacancies i had seen had statutary requirements of basic qualifications or certificates which i did not possess...i was then told i should have applied for them regardless and because i did not my claim was being sent to a decision maker!!!   3. I recently got feedback from a interview that said "I wasn't sure you were so confident with Excel". I have been to college and gained good marks in units using Excel, and I'm pretty sure I completed all the tasks he asked me to using Excel. It makes me wonder what is the point of going to college to gain certificates if a Interviewer can just say you are no good based on a 2 minute test?
  4. After working for a Company for the past 18 years, holding many, many different positions within the Company.
