  1. Hi, I've made PPI claim against NIG, the ppi was purchased when buying a washing machine from powerhouse in 2000 , I've got the agreement etc. I believe I was mis-sold being told by the sales agent I could not finance without ppi. The claim has been rejected by NIG, on a couple of point, this is where clarification would help. They start off start of stating the are joint underwriters with the policy being brokered via Heath Lambert, Heaths allowing Powerhosue to sell. They suggest refering to heaths or powerhouse, powerhouse as we know have gone t-up. They also state this falls outside limitation and state powerhouse were not part of GISC and not covered by the FOS. My questions are 1 - are they fobbing me off? ppi vlaue is only £45.00 2 would powerhouse have a delegated authority to sell on the behalf of underwriters, therefore underwriters hold the responsibility? 3 does limitation apply? 4 is GISC relevant with ppi claims? Thanks for your time, I'm often over at the insurance forum (home, motor, BTE claims being my thing), if I can return the favour please ask. Mwynci
