  1. Hi gagers I received a letter today from inter-credit international ltd [ never heard of them] It states that it is on behalf of my water company at my old address [ i`m still with the same company]. It claims i owe the best part of £500 & that they have instructed there solicitors to commence legal action within 7 days & there is a case number quoted by the date & their reference number. I have no knowledge of this debt & how can anyone start proceedings this quickly. I cant scan up the letter but if it helps i could copy it word for word, this is the first Ive heard of this & we moved well over two years ago with no hassle or unpaid debts for any utilities. Any thoughts ? Middxx
  2. Good Afternoon I currently owe Veolia Water(Three Valleys) around £500 and today received a letter from P.W. Moody Solicitor and Commissioner for Oaths threatening court action. If the balance isn't repaid within 5 working days they will be processing a court claim. I have looked into P.W Moody online and it appears they aren't even solicitors. Has anyone dealt with this company before or know if they are what they are presenting themselves to be? Thank you!!
  3. Moody’s is on the brink of downgrading the credit rating of British banks such as HSBC, Barclays and the Royal Bank of Scotland by up to two notches. Sky News reports that the move is expected as part of a broader credit downgrade of some of the world’s major banks including JP Morgan and is expected after the close of US markets at 10pm. Lloyds Banking Group may also be affected. The move is a consequence of the ongoing Eurozone crisis and weak economic performance across the globe. Moody’s recently downgraded Santander UK by one notch to A2 along with 16 Spanish banks as a result of the Spanish banking crisis and subsequent €100bn bailout. Any downgrade will impact on the funding costs of major banks which have already been rising due to the Eurozone crisis despite low interest rates and falling Libor.
