  1. Hi , Last week I received a N1CPC Claim form from HL Legal on behalf of Capquest for an old Mobile phone contract that defaulted mid 2008. No payments have been made since 2008 as I fell into financial difficulty. I have been reading the forum to get an idea of how to respond and I intend to defend the claim fully. Issue Date : 19th Feb 2014 + 5 days for Service: 24th Feb 2014 AOS: 10th March 2014 Defence : 24th March 2014 POC : Part of the balance outstanding under a contract made between (Mobile Company) and the
  2. Hi Thank you for the wealth of information I was wondering if I could also get some help here. I have received a Claim form (issued 8th Oct) from Northampton CC Bulk Centre and the claimant is Lowell with their sidekick Bryan Carter with regards to an old mobile phone contract. Have been reading around the forum and the info on the PoC (amounts rounded off) are: This Claim is for 290 the amount due under an agreement between the original creditor and the defendant to provide finance and/or services and/or goods. This debt was assigned to/purchased by Lowell on 0
  3. I took out a 24 month contract this time last year. I moved into my new house a couple of months ago and most of the time there is no signal whatsoever. I have to go up into the attic just to get one bar, and even that fluctuates. There is also no signal at my parent's house. What are my rights? Am I able to end the contract early? Thanks.

The only info I can find on this is that you can keep your number if you change providers, but I'm keeping the provider, I'm changing the company I get the contract from. I don't believe this, am I right in thinking this isn't true?
  5. I have been in dispute with T Mobile for 3mths. After 6 yrs needed to leave as no reception at new house. They came up with charges not in my contract and then decided they had made a mistake. By this time had checked all my paperwork and they had removed a Loyalty discount applied when I intended to leave to go to new provide 2 years before. They had not written as itstated they must give 30 days notice. Told my bank that they had called for unauthorised payments and they recalled without telling me! In short been to debt collection who have now filed their papers ar T Mobile have not been ab
