  1. Hello Can I get some advice, please? I brought a new car that is on hire finance just over a year ago. I missed the first year of service. there have been lots of things going on in my life and I completely forgot especially as the service timing has changed. I have booked it for a service with the garage and they have told me that this voids my warranty and I should let the finance company know. the finance will end at the end of this year and I want to keep my car. I am mortified and really worried. Will they charge me a penalty, will it affect my credit rating. This has never happened to me before. Garage won't do both at the same time. The car hasn't much mileage on it. I'm really worried:-( What should I do?
