  1. Hi I have had an ongoing issue with Orange now EE for around 2 years. It all started with them charging for stuff that was included in my contract package, I'd ring them and they would wipe it off, however the following month it would appear again and the deficit got more and more so in the end I chose to leave. They have now been hounding me for £214 that I do not owe, I sent them the sar etc and received nothing of what I asked for but a bill showing that they had -214 off my bill so my balance on the account was now zero. Please see attached picture The default on my credit report states £222 which is wrong. I have messaged them and phoned them and they refuse to do anything about it. Can they stI'll default me on a zero balance? I sent a SAR off and received a shed load of bills nothing else, they told me no phone calls were recorded. Surely they cannot do this?, please someone help me Regards Sarah
  2. Hi everyone Long time lurker, have successfully used advice from these forums in the past, so a big thank you to everyone taking time out of their busy lives to help all of us who are unfamiliar with how to deal with such agencies. Back in 2010 I fell into debt due to a business failure. I have a few creditors and all but one have been very reasonable. Following advice from the then CCCS I entered into agreed payment arrangements with my creditors and this has been working fine for both parties involved. I recently received a letter from Shoosmiths with regard to the Natwest debt. It was my understanding that Shoosmiths were debt collectors who had purchased the debt from Natwest as I am paying Shoosmiths directly, and have been for quite some time. They are asking quite aggressively for me to fill out a pretty invasive form which includes the expected income and expenditure but also lots of other personal details that I wouldn't normally pass on to anyone, such as employer details, asset details etc etc. My question is, what information am I bound by law to pass to them? I feel that a basic income and expenditure budget sheet should do, but they are threatening court action if they don't get everything they want. I am furthermore uneasy about providing personal information after having read of their failings by sending a lot of debtors information to one debtor they were pursuing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Hello Can anyone tell me what this means? "Pay method changed from B to D.? I think Pay method D implies direct debit - if so, what is Pay method B? RI
  4. But they have taken no action against them, not even a slap on the wrist, just a 'don't be naughty' letter. I have said it so many times, these departments are completely useless and should be closed down. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-18160539 The OFT says if they do it again, they could face a fine 'up to' £50,000 - Wonga makes about that much in profit from a £200 loan.
