  1. Nick Clegg has blocked tough new laws intended to stop extremist speakers brainwashing university students for terrorism, raising fears that Britain will be left more vulnerable to attack. The Deputy Prime Minister personally vetoed the plan during private talks with David Cameron, after one of the worst Cabinet rows in the Coalition’s five-year rule. Mr Clegg said he could not support moves to require university bosses to vet visiting speakers and prevent impressionable students from falling under the spell of extremists – because Liberal Democrats feared the move would erode “free speech”. 2. Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg has defended his opposition to the so-called snoopers' charter, insisting "blanket" data retention is "not very British". Nick Clegg branded a 'w****r' by Home Office. Mr Clegg was ridiculed by the Home Office after demanding an apology for Mrs May's claims the Lib Dems behaved 'outrageously irresponsible' for blocking new data laws. http://no1forum.co.uk/showthread.php?489-Lib-Dems-Support-Isis-Terrorism-and-the-Islamist-Murders&p=859#post859
  3. He actually said this on tv this dinnertime. In there next election manifesto they will promise that 'all' teachers will be qualified. When asked what would be done with the existing unqualified teachers and those that didn't want to go down the qualification route, he said "they will be asked to step aside". More Lib Dem crap.
  4. Exactly where funding will come from will not be announced until December. The business bank is expected to be up and running in 18 months. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-19691162
  5. Ok. I am in the IB to ESA reassessment phase. I am currently awaiting a medical appointment which is delayed as I want it recorded. However I have been told I need to send in regular sicknotes although I have not had any requests in writing and I am not on assessment rate ESA. Is this actual policy? I am sending the sicknotes but its a pain to do and only made easier so far by a local DWP manager handing it all for me. However she now is telling me to deal withe BDC direct which will make things harder as they wont send out envelopes etc.
