  1. Hello All, I am new to posting, but have read many of the topics on here via google searches...some excellent work I am currently enjoying a comical exchange with Harlands / xercise4less. I signed up for the rolling monthly membership, this was done online . After a mere ten days it was clear this facility wasnt for me... I have been a member of many gyms but this one had 12 year old kids hurtling the barriers to run around the gym climbing on equipment and disrupting people without a single member of staff flinching. That was me done. I handed in a letter after 10 days stating that during the initial cooling off period I had realised the gym was not for me and I wanted to cancel. I stated my reasons, this was taken off me at reception by a staff member who gave his name as ..... I noticed the direct debit had come out one afternoon a fortnight or so later, no problem. £20 membership and £20 joining fee, I then cancelled this via my banking app on the Friday. From here I was introduced to the riddlers at Harlands. they have said I owe £65 due to a £25 admin fee plus the earlier fee's. The initial £40 was not accepted and returned to my account on the Monday morning. They have also told me they cannot cancel my membership it needs to be done in branch. I have done. They know nothing about this they say. Not my problem I say . Cancel online they now say. No need to I say, writting is perfectly acceptable. I am now engaging them via email, and quite sadly enjoying the whole process of annoying them. I will post the emails below. Any advice welcomed.
  2. hello i checked my credit fine and saw an entry from microcredit for £500 back from 2012. I didnt not reconise the debt so i sent off the standard CCA letter with enclosed fee ect.. I got a letter back yesterday from micro credit. No signed agreement or statement as requested.. Just a load of junk advising i should go to the police if i think that someone has taken out the application in my name as it could be fraud.. bla bla bla.. anyone else received such a response?
  3. Upshot is this, Driver of vehicle parks, on a PE operated car park with a 2 hours limit. Driver leaves after 2hrs 12 mins Parking Eye send a Parking Notice to the owner of the vehicle at the address registered Owner wasn't the driver at the time, the driver at the time is disabled and able to stay double the amount usually given ...so they could have parked for 4 hours. As they didn't address it to the driver at the time the registered keeper ignored the communication. 2 Months on Parking Eye write to another address (not the registered keepers address) but an address where the registered keeper used to live stating that they couldn't have know that the registered keeper had moved and that they would accept a reduced fee if paid within 14 days, they also state that they gained the address by way of a Credit Reference Agency....say what? The Registered Keeper still lives at the original address and the one that is registered to the car by the DVLA ..the other address sent the communication back to the original address. The person driving is covered to park over the time allocated, no problem with that, but Parking Eye using a credit ref agency to write to another address simply because the one and only time they wrote to the registered address but did not receive a reply. For £40 and which they have zero chance of collecting given the disabled status of the driver of the vehicle at the time and which is easily enough rectified ...however, lets hope Parking Eye waste their money taking out court action and wasting more of their money. What seems so wrong is a cra being used for an address when all the time the vehicle is still registered at the original address.
  4. So far they have rang me on my new mobile number asking for 3 different people. When i inform them that i have never heard of that person , they ask me" what number do you live at " , hang up & activate my nice new app that blocks calls & txt etc:-D A simple google of the numbers & it seem it is Avantis, come on boys ..... you can do better than this. TBH, i have no idea why they would be chasing me as i am not in debt to anyone, may be an old SB one they think i might want to make some contribution too , my sides are hurting now. These are the numbers i have found in relation to these jokers, i do expect more 07891 884107 07814 042062 07891 891060 07891 894084 07891 903286 07891 901347 0844 824 1820 01782 401123 08448 241 820
