Have just returned from helping a family friend out this evening, she was stranded at road side with puncture, and no spare wheel, car jack, wheel brace or emergency puncture repair kit in the car.The car was the lady's first and she bought on the basis of colour and because it was cute, in other words the car dealer saw her coming and quickly worked out she was not aware of what to look for when buying a car. So, tonight in pouring rain and in the dark at the side of the road I had to give her and her son a lift and abandon her car at roadside.Before, I call the 2nd hand car dealer tomorrow, I want to calm down abit and seek the advice of CAG on this matter. I understand that many cars are no longer sold with spare tyres/wheels and a foam repair kit is often supplied, but this car I now know is supposed to be supplied with a spare wheel as the deep hole in the boot suggests. There is no tools present/supplied to jack the car and nor is there a wheel brace.Am I correct in thinking that legally these should have been supplied? What course of action would you recommend?Thanks as always for any help offered.

Hi all! Want to get my details in line ready for tomorrow when I am going to take my 20 month old HP Pavilion notebook back to PC World to see if I can get this power jack fixed. The port (on the laptop itself) has been loose, and now come apart, and the internal plastic spacer keeping all the pins straight has fallen out. This has been a problem since May 2017 but I was awaiting a response from HP which never came. It does still charge however the pins are highly likely to get bent now the spacer is not present. It's normally used on a table with no stress on the jack itself, and there is no damage present to the surrounding plastics or the charger/cable. I have spoken to KnowHow however they say that they will charge an up front fee of £60 to only assess the port before deciding if a manufacturing defect is present and therefore replace FOC. Can PC World charge this upfront? I am able and willing to replace the jack myself if they were to get the part. Most of them on eBay appear to be £20+ and HP's own spares site state that they do not stock it.

Awe Schitt was married to O. Schitt, the fertilizer magnate, and owner of Needeep N. Schitt, Inc. They had one son, Jack. In turn, Jack Schitt married Noe Schitt. The deeply religious couple produced six children: Holie Schitt, Giva Schitt, Fulla Schitt, Bull Schitt, and the twins Deep Schitt and Dip Schitt. Against her parents' objections, Deep Schitt married Dumb Schitt, a high school dropout.. After being married 15 years, Jack and Noe Schitt divorced. Noe Schitt later married Ted Sherlock, and because her kids were living with them, she wanted to keep her previous name. She was then known as Noe Schitt-Sherlock. Meanwhile, Dip Schitt married Loda Schitt, and they produced a son with a rather nervous disposition who was nick-named Chicken Schitt.
