  1. Yesterday 16/10/13 i received 2 seperate claim forms from MKDP on behalf of HSBC. The debts as far as i can remember are from a credit card and an overdraft from accounts i had about maybe 6 yrs ago. MKDP say they were assigned the debt on 8/12/11. Now i admit that there was a debt that was at a time when i was going through a messy separation but i believe a major part of the debt were charges put on by the bank after i spoke to them to explain the situation and reqested time to pay. When the debt got bigger however i did ignore letters. Is it worth defending this claim as i really
  2. Today I checked my credit file found a Multi agency report website I was totally gobsmacked to see a ccj reported on there dating back to 2010 which was served at my Sister's address which we lived at for a period of 2 weeks back in 2009 I phoned the issuing Court and finally got info that it was a claim by RBS issued by Earlswoods which I have no idea what for and never received any notification prior to CCJ to give me any chance to remedy or defend Again surely almost 4 years since it was awarded never received anything about this As you can imagine I am very upset that
  3. I'll try to be as brief as possible. I've been on benefits due to mental health issues since 2006. In November 2011 I split from my husband and moved into my own place. Then with the new changes in HB/ESA last year and the upcoming changes to universal credit/bedroom tax, I realised I couldn't afford my place by myself and moving again I felt was too stressful. My friend, who also suffers from mental health issues, was having problems with his mum so we thought it'd be a good solution for him to move into the spare room in my flat. We contacted the landlord and each got a tenancy and thought

  5. Hi there I'm new to this forum so please be gentle! I sold a clock on ebay and stated on the auction - UK bidders only. Item was bought via a cargo company who ship to customers in the far east. The clock was packaged and sent recorded delivery plus extra insurance on May 8th and received with signature on May 10th. On May 18th the buyer contacted me to say they want to return the item because it was damaged. Ebay are no help whatsoever and paypal have already frozen the money in my account. Parcelforce are no help either because according to their small print in their five page leaflet
