  1. Hi, After some advice, I unfortunately took out a greenwood personal loan in 2011, The agent filled in the paper work, I signed it and that was it i had the cash given to me there and then. After a few weeks the agent stopped turning up, I called number on the card to state that he had not turned up, they informed me he was under investigation and another agent would be around to collect my money (They did not take card payments then else i would have paid). No agent showed up for the coming 5 weeks; I called the head office again stating the
  2. Hi Both my husband and I have loans with Provident and Greenwood. These have been topped up over the past couple of years and are now at a silly amount. Generally I don't ask for the loans, they text me and say that they can do me an extra £xx. I know that it's our own fault getting into this, but when you don't have money to pay bills it's very easy to take what's offered. I've NEVER seen our payment books, but I know that the payments are being made against the accounts as I write a cheque each week. Anyway, it's now to the point where we are unable to pay our priority debts (
  3. So it looks like my other half has received a fairly standard Transcom letter on behalf of Motormile. My instinct was to fire off a 'prove it' letter, but I'd just thought I'd ask you guys 'n' girls your opinion in case different actions may be better. Anyway, here's a synopsis of the letter: re: Motormile Finance UK Ltd A/C No: xxxxxxxxx Quote ref: xxxxxxx Amount due: £xxxx.xx Banner: RECEIPT OF PAYMENT Dear Miss (old married name) With effect from 18th September 2012, BCW Group Ltd sold the above detailed account to our client Motormile Finance UK Ltd [MM
  4. Hi all, could any one tell me if greenwood are closed down? I was interested in applying with them but it says page not found everytime I attempt to do so. Thank you
  5. Hi, Hope someone can help me! I took out a loan last year from Greenwood's for my mum at her address (which I have never lived at!) The agent was aware the loan was not for me but still allowed it to be processed despite my mum getting 1 at the same time. I recently received a letter from a debt company stating I owed £700. I contacted them saying I had never lived at the address stated on the letter and so they passed the debt back to Greenwoods (it was only after I clicked on which bill it would be!) I contacted Greenwoods to see if there was anything to do regarding the debt as althoug
  6. Have contacted Greenwood's who stated to take out a loan proof of address is required. I took a loan out for my parents at their address and was not asked and didn't provide proof of address as I have never lived at their address. Could somebody point me in the direction to begin process of having name of debt changed or removed as clearly they have not kept to their own `rules` or am I still stuck with this debt despite this error as I did sign the paperwork?
  7. hi, have an outstanding amount of over £1500 from greenwood personal credit, home collection loan, now passed to buchanan clark & wells, i emailed to say i have serious illness and now disabled and they would get £2 per month as all our other creditors are getting with the help form payplan, BCW have written back they require evidence of medical condition, i know its probably easier to just give it to them, but are they entitled to it? do i HAVE to comply? a ny info or help would be most grateful, also no point cca BCW is there as greenwood would def have a
