  1. I got a NTK through the post today. Attached is the NTK and sat view of the layout. The entrance ANPR camera is before any car park signs, It does not say whether the driver was parked in the actual car park or on the forecourt. Street view shows the signs, I am unable to get a picture of the sign without a drive into London to get there. https://goo.gl/maps/yh1ehnDVUsR2 For PCN's received through the post [ANPR camera capture] please answer the following questions. 1 Date of the infringement 27/09/2018 2 Date on the NTK [this must have been received within 14 days
  2. I came to return my brother's car and parked on the suspended bus stop which had been closed due to Gasworks mains replacement. Below is my letter to Newham, I have appeal on 18th Jan 2019 and need some guidance. The PCN ….. was issued while the vehicle was parked on the Bus Stop on Plashet Road. Plashet Road was closed due to Mains Replacement work on Green Street. Stukeley Road had notices stating that it was closed from 28th July to 5th October. The works overran the above schedule and I wasn’t aware of its completion until after I was informed about PCN. My broth

  4. Towards the end of April 2017, an agent working on behalf of Green Star Energy knocked at my elderly parents' door in order to sell their services and make them switch energy providers. My father, who answered the door, advised that he would be interested in finding out more and was advised that information would be sent to his address. This was the last he heard until he received a letter from his current energy provider EON around two weeks afterwards, advising his energy services would be moving to a new provider. He immediately called EON, as he didn't know who the purported new
  5. hi i parked a few weeks ago in the disabled bay with my badge, my badge was on the side of the windscreen but could still be seen. week or so later i had a parking charge notice, i ignored it as i was advised to do, so far have had 3, last week had one from Gladstones solicilors saying they are taking me to court any advice please!
  6. My wife CCA'd the RBS regarding her credit card. They have sent back a copy of her application form (below) and a copy of a 7 page Credit Agreement. The copy of the credit agreement is unsigned (in fact there is nowhere on the agreement to sign) so I imagine if thats their best effort, the agreement is unenforcable. What do you think folks.
  7. Need some advice for family member please. A and B are a couple and were moved under protection from Y to Z overnight. They were in temporary accommodation until early 2016 so were unable to update keeper details until they knew where they would be living. 19/02/16 at 0750, Bailiff knock requesting £787, £477 fine? plus £75 compliance and £235 enforcement (Nothing received beforehand) He also threatened same day removal and threatened them with another £110 for that pleasure. 9. The Government’s flagship energy efficiency scheme is at risk of being undermined by [problem]mers trying to make a quick buck, reveals new evidence from Citizens Advice. Seven in 10 consumer queries to Citizens Advice about Green Deal are about [problem]s. More than half of people caught out by these [problem]s are contacted out of the blue, either over the phone or by door to door sales, and offered thousands of pounds worth of home improvements for free. Citizens Advice wants to see a ban on cold calling and doorstep selling of Green Deal to protect consumers from fak
  10. There is a call centre some where in the Glasgow area claiming to be "government funded" and promoting the installation of solar panels. The name they give is (nearly always) the "Green Energy Initiative", which if one googles for, turns up nothing. Being ex-directory and TPS registered, I grow weary of telling these people where to go - I have (at times) been polite, forceful, blunt, down right rude, and even vulgar. Nothing seems to work. If anyone has a confirmed address and traceable name for this outfit, I would be most interested. Have a box of kippers and
  11. Hi, looking for a little advice, I have been browsing through previous threads but getting a little confused. Just got home and found that my Wife has received a Parking Charge Notice issued by New Generation Parking Management, The letter states that £60.00 to be paid within 14days for no valid permit. The "Offence" was at Talbot Green CF728AL. No ticket or notice was affixed to car at time of "alleged" incident. There are some grainy pictures attached showing my Wife's car, I followed link for High quality ones but they are not available on their website. My
  12. A friend just emailed this to me.. Checking out at the store, the young cashier suggested to the much older woman, that she should bring her own grocery bags because plastic bags weren't good for the environment. The woman apologized and explained, "We didn't have this 'green thing' back in my earlier days." The young clerk responded, "That's our problem today. Your generation did not care enough to save our environment for future generations." She was right -- our generation didn't have the 'green thing' in its day. Back then, we returned milk bottles, soda
  13. My girlfriends car suddenly started to shake and loose speed on the A12, so she pulled into a lay by and used the SOS phone. The person on the phone advised them all (Her, her disabled mother and niece) to get out of the car and wait on the bank for Green Flag to come out. Green flag said they would take an hour, but after an hour, she called them back and they said they would be another hour. After that hour, she called back again and was told that they are still looking for someone who can come out. It wasn't until two and a half hours did someone actually come out. Bearing in min
  14. Hi all. I parked within a parking bay opposite Birmingham city hospital, it was a 1 hour parking place. I am a blue badger holder and when I returned to my car I saw that I got a parking ticket. I thought blue badge holders could park up to three hours. Furthermore as stated I am a blue badge holder which means I am disabled and takes me long to get back to the car and on top of this I went to go see my sister who has only weeks to live as she has terminal cancer.do u think its worth challenging the parking ticket? I was only 20 mins over. There were other cars with blue badges on who hadn't r
  15. The Green Deal is a government backed scheme that can help you make energy-saving improvements to your home or business, for example: insulation - eg solid wall, cavity wall or loft insulation heating draught-proofing double glazing renewable energy generation - eg solar panels or heat pumps You have to pay back the cost of the improvements over time because the Green Deal is a loan. The BBC has found that some firms promoting the scheme are mis-leading consumers by claiming the Green Deal was free and that they qualified for the scheme
  16. I owe some money on last years council tax, and when I was working I paid off what I needed to each month to keep them happy via my council. but been unemployed for a few months, first they wanted me to pay £50 + a month, wish I had that spare... I sent a letter back no reply, today get a letter from Stanford and Green saying they are going to take my motorbike its just a little 125 that I use to get around, suffering from asthma a lot recently so I rely on it highly. and it helps when I have job interviews to go to them. anyway called him, no answered, called again and answered
  17. I'm living in a terraced house built in 1890 and a backboiler that doesn't meet safety regulations put in around 1970. If I could get a boiler on the Green Deal and put it on the electricty bill, I would. but looking at the terms, they will only lend a certain amount of money, up to the amount that they expect the environmental improvements would save on the bills each month. As a boiler would be 3 grand or more, I doubt they lend me the money for that unless my bills were going to go down by more than 30 quid a month as a result of having a new boiler. Which kind of implies the

  19. Hi there, My first post so please be gentle! The usual story, lost my job, got into debt with several companies, of which they are all mostly cleared now. I still however owe Green Energy over £800, incurred during the winter for heating and from previous missed bills . I have massively decreased my electricity usage since getting into trouble to around £30 per month, and started paying them back £60 per month. However, they wanted me to setup a Direct Debit for this which at the time I said was fine and to send me the forms. However since then I had several large unexpected bi
  20. Experts say promises to save money for poorer households and rescue many from fuel poverty cannot be guaranteed The government's flagship "green deal" home insulation programme provides no guarantee of saving money for cash-strapped households, and is unlikely to rescue many from fuel poverty, experts warned ahead of its formal launch on Monday. There was also criticism of the interest rate to be offered for the green deal loans, which is set at just under 7%. The sense of doubt and confusion surrounding the policy was reinforced by a warning from a surveyors' trade body th
