  1. Again, my aim is to clear these debts at the lowest possible cost to myself. If someone can tell me if I am doing the right things here and what action I should take next, it will be very much appreciated. Type of Debt: Credit Card Collecting: MBNA (OC) Status: Default (31/07/12) Balance: £1153.00 (as per credit file). Last Payment: September 2012 Penalty and interest charges already reclaimed. 06/01/13: Letter sent requesting CCA. 17/01/13: Received a response with: a) Copy of my executed agreement b) Up to date t&c's c) Most recent statement (which shows the state of my account) Does this fulfill the criteria for complience with a CCA request? 29/01/13: Sent F&F offer for 25% of the balance due. 04/02/13: Received a letter rejecting the offer on the basic that it was far too low. To be fair to MBNA, at this moment, they have not hassled me at all and have been very pleasant in their correspondence. (Dealing with the 'Customer Assistance Department'). They do send me letters every 6-8 weeks asking for money, which I reply to saying I cannot afford any repayments at present. Charges and interest have been stopped. If this CCA is all ok and they have not passed on this debt to a collection agency, can you give me any suggestions on a F&F offer? Should I offer £1 p/m token payments or see if I can get the money to pay off the balance? Thanks for reading, more to come....
