  1. Hey Folks Mystery Shoppers will shortly be introduced at the restaurant I work in, They will be filming the server covertly, whilst we know this will happen we obviously don't know when. I've looked around online but most conversations veer off into CCTV territory....not quite the same...can we refuse to allow this? My interpretation of the DPA would be that this is excessive for what it's being used for....I've also seen that they can't replay the video without permission or an exhibition license? Whilst the server is being covertly filmed, I would assume the whole meal is filmed, so what would the implications be for other servers eg those bringing you your food and indeed other customers who will surely be caught in the filming process... Any advice appreciated!
  2. Think Benedict Cumberbatch has a real point. Why go to a live play or concert and spend most of it with your hand in the air filming it ? It not only distracts you from enjoying the performance, but is annoying to others in the audience, puts the musicians/actors off and may see you get kicked out of the venue. I have heard many musicians/actors complaining that it kills the atmosphere, when most people are filming, as people are partly concentrating on the filming, not fully taking part in a live performance. Go to Youtube and you will find many rubbish videos of recent concerts. The picture quality is mostly poor and the sound mostly rubbish.
  3. Was watching this channel five show 2 weeks ago - in full view of the camera the HCEO normally on the show a decent enough guy with a nasty job forced entry into a residential home, assaulting the debtor after putting foot in door. Has the new act now given HCEO's the right to make a forced entry trying to smash past the debtor/resident over a civil debt? I thought HCEO's could only force entry into commercial property? They also appear to now be issuing bankruptcy stat demands like confetti in an attempt to secure their fees despite the fact this could be working against their clients interest as if the debtor has no assets, in trying to secure their fees the HCEO's if they go ahead have lost the creditor/claimant any chance of recovering a debt that is now "gone" with no assets towards the bankruptcy... I thought using bankruptcy stat demands as a debt collection tool to try and frighten a payment was against the rules and got some debt collection bottom feeders into trouble?
