  2. I have read some good threads here by Abby and others on OD facility letters. Do people know if banks would be likely to still have the original facility letter from an account opened in the 1980s? Presumably if they had it would be hard copy only - or could they just send you a copy of what they used for all their facility letters at the time, without any indication that it was the actual version you were sent back then? Over such a space of time, how could I know if ALL the facility letters had been sent to me and they hadn't missed one out?
  3. This week I had a letter from the Halifax advising me that they were reducing my faciity from £1750 to £250., because " I have not been using it" I have been with them for over 40 years. The facility enables me to make "emergency payments or holiday deposits". On average my account is £300 in credit My pensions of about £900 pm is paid in directly I have not been overdrawn for at least 15 Years My credit rating is very good The account is topped up when required from my Natwest account, which receives my returns from investments.   4. Halifax have withdrawn my O/D facility and won't renew it, they continue to add a daily O/D fee rendering me further into debt. This does not seem to concern them. I explained that I cannot pay it back which fell on deaf ears. What is the way forward with this ?
  5. Hello! Obviously I am brand new here, but I've been lurking for a while reading some helpful previous posts. However, I'm not sure that many apply to my situation, which is an issue with a former landlord (licensor!) at a yard my friend and I formerly let for our horses. We were there from April 2010 to February 2012, but only had a signed license on file for the first year. We paid monthly, and the licensors regularly accessed our barn, and used our fields for their own purposes. We also had restrictions on hours we could be onsite, all of which make me think that it was definitely a lic
