I'm new to the site but just came across and need some advice. I'm one thats usually very good with finances so this is all new and scary to me. Anyway, about 3 months ago I received a parking ticket, I didn't pay it as I was disputing it due to it being a bank holiday. The rejected my claim but stated I could dispute again, however, due to new job and finishing uni (excuses) I just kept putting it off. The original fine was around £70 and then went to £112. Anyway still putting it off I received a letter from Equita. I barely read it and stuffed it in a draw to deal with the ne

My Sister is in arrears with Welcome Finance. she has provided them with a breakdown of her finances and made an agreement to pay via CAB. They are however still phoning her and trying to raise the amount she is paying. and repeatedly ask her for copies of her recent Bank statements. AG have sold the property (5 bed detached house) for £130,000 Fortunately she issued a Severance of Tenancy via her Solicitor. The Court ordered the proceeds of the sale should be split 50/50 after the sale costs have been deducted and the amount owed by the ex retained from his half of the Money. Today she received a cheque from AG for £56,000 and although she has requested a full breakdown of all costs and payments only the cheque was delivered. We have

On Monday 6th Sept 2010, 7.10 pm I parked on a single yellow line in Charlotte Road round the corner from The Tram Shed Theatre, Shoreditch. I went back at 10,30 and my car was gone. Cut a long story short it had been towed away to Hackney pound. £260 release fee. Yes two hundred and sixty pounds! Unbelievable. And so inconsiderate and uncharitable.Pouring with rain, no tubes ( on strike) and I had to go back to Edmonton to collect my photo licence then go all the way back to Hackney again. I eventually got home at 3.00am. Digraceful on all accounts. Excessive release fee, unclear signs and no

I am really hoping someone on here can help. My husband banks with Lloyds TSB and a few months back he went over his agreed overdraft limit. Now, on a monthly basis Lloyds TSB have applied £155 to his account at a time in the month when he is already up to his limit, thus taking him over his agreed limit and giving them reason to apply the same charges the following month. I have been on at him to do something about it but he has been burying his head in the sand and it has cost him £100s so far. Could someone please point me in the right direction of a letter template to help get started
