  1. HI I had my house repossessed in March 2011 and have lost all the documents from the mortgage company and court with the details on and urgently need these so I can go on my local councils housing register. The annoying thing the homeless prevention team at the same council were given copies of this at the time so they could help me and my family in getting a new home but the part that deals with putting you on the housing register says they can't speak to that department to get these details, they need to see the documents for themselves (just being bloody awkward if you ask me!)
  2. Not sure which category to post this under as none fits the description.Mods.please move if required. A colleague at work and his wife adopted a male at around 9 months old. When he was a couple of years old, the "parents" changed his surname to theirs. He is now 15.The colleague is seeking the original adoption documents but can't find who holds them.He has tried Social Services but to no avail. I suggested he try the registry office, or the magistrates court who awarded the "parents" custody.is this correct,or is it another governing body they need to contact?.
  3. I wonder if any one can help please. My son wen to buy a car from Evans Halshaw garage just as he started his new job with not more than £100 in his pocket . was advised that this is enough for the deposit to secure a finance deal. Paid the deposit of £100 on a £12k car and was told to come back and collect it a few days later. When he came back to pick up the car a sales manager went through some basic person information with him and briefly advised that the monthly repayments would be circa £250 pm. tried selling the insurance to which he declined etc ( the usual
  4. Hi, I recently had costs awarded against me at a PHR. I had not been expecting this. I am picking up the pieces now after the shock of it all. A good friend referred me to this forum and to some recent posts about costs, in particular the fact that the employer is not allowed to charge more than £33 ph for preparing for the hearing. Mine charged £110 ph - this was not challenged by the judge. They also included external solicitor's costs on top. If I apply the £33 limit it works out that I will be paying more in costs than the employer was allowed to claim for. I am incensed
  5. I have just checked my documents from LBL company Automoney and my Documents :- Pre-contract credit information Fixed Sum Loan Agreement regulated By Consumer Credit Act 1974 Bill of Sale Have all been only signed by Myself and the Automoney employee and not Independently witnessed. Can anyone please tell me how i stand ? Also are these documents invalid or incorrect? Can my vehicle be repossessed because of these documents? Does my LBL now become an Unsecured Loan? Thanks again in anticipation
