Greetings All. First post (hopefully of not too many, but think there may be a few in the pipe). If a Dealer's Website says: "Complaint Procedure" - Awaiting Content" of course there's nothing about any trade bodies or ADR channels. is this a breach of law and if so which legislation/ASA code etc? Is it worthy of an additional 'complaint' ? Thanks for your time.
we have been bidding on properties for over 3 years with this housing association, but in band d, after having shelter involved as environmental health say out property is not safe to live in. Shelter sent the reports and our sons report about his disabilities, we have been bidding with no problems for 3 years, then all of a sudden i couldn't log on to there system, after calling them, i was told the application was deleted due to rent arrears on a old property, of which we had paid off, but still want 1500 in charges from us!! i not happy, Environmental health have said this house is not safe, but the local housing is run by this housing association, who have now told us we can no longer bid or be with us. I've asked why they have done this after shelter got involved! they are refusing to answer us.
Hope someone can help with this. I have been going back over some old Capital One statements from around 2000-2004 and found some charges etc. which seem to be rather unexplained. They appear as "Finance Charges", and later as "Special Purchase Interest". It is unclear what these relate to and I am tempted to think they may relate to some sort of semi-disguised PPI payment. Am I being paranoid, or has anyone seen anything similar?
I joined my local Total Fitness Health Club in May and happily attended for 2 months until one day I was denied access and told to go and see one of the membership consultants. He then informed me that I had not paid for the previous two months and asked if I could pay straight away. Mortified I asked him to check why no payments had been made and apologised profusely. then he tells me that it is because the girl who signed me up had not bothered to send my bank details to head office! Now they are telling me I have to either pay £60 straight away to cover the two months lost, or add £30 to August and Septembers payments to cover it, making that £60 for August and September. Obviously I hadn't planned for my gym membership to cost that much & paying this is going to severely affect me for the rest of the month. I called head office and spoke to some nameless employee whose lacklustre apology did nothing to curb my annoyance, and who basically told me that I do indeed have to pay for their mistake. I am so frustrated by their disappointing customer service skills, and frankly quite alarmed at what was done with my bank details if they were not sent to head office!? According to Total Fitness I have no leg to stand on in this situation and they have done nothing to help.
