  1. When Microsoft MVP Patrick Barker tried to help a user with a computer problem, he stumbled across something curious. Windows Update kept randomly being disabled. Was malware at work, turning off Windows Update to prevent Microsoft patches and security updates from being installed? No, malware wasn't to blame. It was Samsung. Barker discovered that Samsung's SW Update software was downloading and running a file with the unambiguous name of Disable_Windowsupdate.exe. 2. I couldnt believe I was seeing this when I was watching the news !! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2432593/Gang-deliberately-crashed-bus-500-000-cash-crash-[problem]-guilty-fraud.html
  3. Good evening fellow CAGgers, I have the following problem. I have a pending Employment Tribunal hearing in some 1.5 months and now it is a disclosure phase. The Respondent tries whatever they can in their powers (via a representative) to delay the disclosure. They gave me estimate for delivering the requested documents which was far beyond the date the ET Judge set for agreeing on the bundle. Also, I cannot be sure that they will give me all the docs I requested, they are saying they will first establish the relevance of those to the case. What can I do to force them to dis
  4. Having seen this thread (and this post in particular ) http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?396732-Lost-POPLA-appeal-what-are-my-chances-in-court&p=4284319&viewfull=1#post4284319 I am wondering what chance I have of appealing via the county court since I did provide proof of purchase and the council were in no way at a loss as I had proof of purchase I went through the informal, then formal NTO procedure, and onto PATAS (upheld) believing the council had retained a ticket I had purchased in order to check why it did not remain on the windscreen af
  5. I have often noticed that supermarkets will show price per Kg of products on the shelf. This helps the consumer make an informed choice regarding the size and pricing of a product. But, to confuse customers they will often show price per 100gms of the same product but maybe a different brand. I think this is a blatant example of deception designed to make customers, not that good with their sums, unable to make a comparison. Today, however, in Sainsbury's I saw a real hum-dinger! A box of 40 camomile tea bags was show with the price per 100gms. The same make of camomile tea bags in a
  6. Had to make a complaint today regarding one of their drivers who blocked 3 drivers in 2 directions rather than simply backing straight up. When I put the window down in my car to ask him what he was doing, he just stared at me and then waived with a smirk on his face when I drove through a very tiny gap in order to prevent any further hold ups for the 2 other cars. Deliberantly obstructive, disrespectful, rude and ignorant. :???:
