Hello anyone out there who knows what's what re CCAs and DCAs etc - will cut short a long story, an original creditor defaulted me 2/3 years ago on a credit card debt, on assigning the account to a DCA, registered amount owing at £0. DCA wrote demanding payment of original debt and I replied giving reason I believed debt to be unenforceable - DCA replied saying would look into this and usually required 4 months to do so. At end of 4 months, I noticed DCA had 'updated' the default, with original amount said to be due, without notifying me, this being some 5/6 weeks ago - still have had no reply from DCA - is this in accordance with any of the various terms of credit card acts etc? - or should I have been written to prior to default being updated - I did read somewhere you could only be defaulted once per debt- More than grateful for any comments on this - thanks in advance.

Hi all My Wife was dissmised for alleged gross misconduct for chasing on social media about work all though no mention of her work name or any second names used during conversation ( she thought she was in chat mode with a friend not on live site). Went to C.A.B. got told can't do anything as she had only been at her job nine months. Today she has received her final wage slip after waiting a month they paid the 3 weeks wages and any owed holiday pay then took back the full wages for the month before. What I need to know is can we appellant the sacking and what do I do about the wages they also owe her for 300 pound worth of overtime short paid over Christmas.

Currently on 3 points, due to expire in 2 months. Recently received a failure to provide letter with copy of NIP and reminder, both of which not received previously. Alleged speeding offence 37 in a 30 offence took place in April when I had 6 points. FTP offence carries a 6 point tariff. I appear to be facing a ban. Taken legal advice, as follows : Plead NOT guilty to FTP, get a court date, then try and negotiate to have speeding re-instated and FTP dropped. If unsuccessful go to court and argue NIP not received and get acquitted. Make case I am fully aware of how system works, if NIP received I would have taken the 3 points and sat on 9 points for a matter of weeks before dropping down to 6 and then 3 in 10 months. Your comments would be very welcome. Baur.
