  1. I could not believe I was reading this !! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4510778/Student-stabbed-lover-spared-jail.html
  2. Hi guys, Im hoping you clued up people on here might be able to help me! In 2000 when I was a student I was tempted down the deadly route of credit cards and overdrafts by a number of the main banks. However as i was a student I had no income to repay them so they ended up at debt collectors I sort of burried my head in the sand a bit at the time and when charge upon charge was added I just threw the letters away! It came to about £10,000 with 4 different collection agencies in the end. Since then the companies dealing with the debt have changed a few times .......and for the past 10 years Ive just been paying mininal amounts of £5 a month. After an unbelievable 9 years at uni Im now working full time and would like to sort this out as I feel it may stop me getting a mortgage! The question is how?! Is it best to make a full and final settlement offers of a percentage of whats owed? Do you think I could claim anything back as Im sure most of that £10,000 is charges/ fees etc. Is there anything else I should be doing? Very grateful for any help or advice ) Honey xx
