I was left with no option by my bank RBS but to submit a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman in my dispute with them. The dispute relates to Personal Guarantees for my former business which ceased trading last year and is now formally dissolved. The Adjudicator is claiming they can't consider the case as I am neither a 'consumer' as the finance is considered to have been 'acting for purposes within my trade, business, craft or profession.' nor a 'micro enterprise' as the business 'isn't capable of being represented and it can't raise a complaint'. They've used a court case BlueFin v Ombudsman to support their position with regards to my not being a consumer. So, despite having been a victim of extremely poor practice by RBS I am caught out by this Catch 22. Anyone had a similar experience or can provide any pointers on how I could challenge their response?

Can anyone offer advice, there are two of us who have won cases through FOS against Microcredit T /as Minicredit, we won in our favour and Microcredit owe 1200, they ceased to trade, I have gone to CAB and they couldn't give advice, also been in contact with FCA and cant give advice and FOS have done all they can do. FOS decisions are enforceable in court. I have already spent 100 trying to get my money. I have sent a judgement obviously next step in Bailiffs, but is this maybe a waste of money as they may not have assets, we need help as we cant spend money and we may not get money back, please any advice, obviously we can put a charge on bank but is it worth paying if they don't have active bank account. We feel lost and are annoyed Minicredit has not paid us our money, but they ensured they sold there debts on, how is this allowed

Hi Guys love this forum. My question is I pulled up my credit file and spotted a CCJ. I have had troubles in the past but definatly dont remember receiving any notifications. I was renting a house with some students, I was friends with one, didnt get along with the others. when it came to leaving, my room was perfect theres were damaged. I never recieved my deposit back and he was trying to claim more. I ignored it as i didnt think it was fair me being charged for there mess. Now I find out the CCJ is from him. It was 5 years and 9 months ago. I have never made a payment as I've only recently noticed it, never recieved court summons or anyway to get in touch to pay it. Im in a position to clear it but his company has ceased trading. What would you recommend I do? Who do I pay/contact? Thanks
