  1. UK's first pay-as-you-go cafe opens in east London. Charging 3p a minute just to be there! (but tea, biscuits and WiFi are free) Cafe Ziferblat offers customers all-you-can-eat biscuits and endless tea It charges for time spent, and customers must prepare their own coffee They must even wash up their own dishes It's a cafe that offers all-you-can-eat biscuits, endless cups of tea and unlimited WiFi. The only catch? You have to pay for your stay. The UK’s first pay-per-minute cafe Ziferblat, which means clock face in Russian, charges customers 3p for every minute they spend inside. When guests arrive at the East London cafe they take a clock from the cupboard and keep it with them until they leave. They then make their own coffee or prepare food – and sometimes even wash their own dishes. 2. Hi, This may seem a strange request and any comments would be greatly appreciated. I currently work in the financial sector and have done for the last 15 years in various roles. I have now decided that i wish to work in a cafe in our local aquarium. This is because i am finding it increasingly hard to reach work targets and wish to have a complete change. I am concerned that the aquarium will see that what i do now is totally unrelated and throw away my cv. Does any one have any ideas on how i can over come the problem of being overlooked? Thank you for reading me x
  3. Good morning people,I hope you're all having easy Sunday rest. I went into Tesco cafe yesterday for a white coffee, and on the board were all these poncy lattes, cappuccinos, mochas, espressos etc. You ask for a milky coffee, and they look at you in confused bewilderment. Worst of all was the new price list, £2.35 for a supermarket coffee:mad2:. On inquiring, i was informed that Costa Coffee`s tentacles have now spread to the supermarkets. Explains why there were few people there. Says all there is to say about Tesco really,as I would't be going there anymore
