  1. Hi there my experian credit score is 577 and I really could do with sorting this out as soon as I can. Backstory: A few years back, I had far too many cards with way too high credit limits and spent more than I should and could really afford. I managed to get a check on myself and stopped the spending, did some balance transfers etc to try and make things more affordable. I missed the odd payment here and there due to lack of being organised or simply not having enough money in my account that month. Then, out of nowhere, some of the credit card co
  2. I am trying to sort out my Daughters debts after she had a nervous breakdown, this in some instances has been relatively painless, with companies responding to CCA requests promptly and I have set up payment plans. However Egg et el have been a different matter each and every time I have asked for details they have simply moved it on to different DCA's or solicitors despite ARC not supplying the information requested in 2011, but cashing the CCA PO the alleged debt has been moved on and in 2013 Britannica issued a summons through The Bulk centre in Northampt
  3. Hi I have two old credit card accounts with MBNA which have been sold to Arrow Global . I had no joy from Arrow with a CCA request for both account so i did a SAR to MBNA. Neither account had PPI but both will have incurred charges along the way . In the SAR pack i can see no documentation for the transfer or sale of the account to Arrow. Must this be in the pack for Arrow to chase me for the debt . As they are old accounts 2001 and 2004 i have included the CCA in the SAR pack for anyone able to quantify them . I currently pay both accounts £1pcm still to MBNA for the
  4. After a bit of legal advice. Britannica Recoveries SARL issued a claim against me in Last year which they failed to submit the DQ and Court fee for and are currently struck out. Have a hearing tomorrow when they are trying to reinstate claim. They have changed the name on the Court proceedings to Paragon Personal Finance without any application to or permission by the court. Thereby the claimant has changed. Being represented by Shoosmiths. I am sure this cannot be allowed to progress but is anybody able to give me the correct legal argument? Also does
  5. Hi guys I have an existing 'debt' that was with Virgin for a credit card in the region of around £25k, although I think I'm about to dispute the debt. Hopefully one of you lovely people will be able to help me clear up a few questions I have. Since the time of my original application for a CC from Virgin, they have been taken over or otherwise transferred to MBNA. After writing to MBNA requesting a copy of the original Credit Agreement, which was with Virgin, they have responded by sending a copy of an online form that they have printed out. Firstly, is the online
  6. Hi, I have a debt previously owed to Egg banking, now transferred to Britannica Recoveries. The debt is secured with a Second Charge on the property and managed by Drydens Solicitors. A family member has offered to loan me some money which I would like to use to pay off this debt. I have spoken to Drydens and they have sent me a letter stating they will accept a slightly reduced sum and “consider your liability for the outstanding debt settled”. However, they have made no reference to the removal of the Second Charge with the Land Registry. I am unsure
  7. Hi All I've recently received a Default Notice from Egg, it's attached. For information it is on 3 seperate sheets of paper and in the top right of the first page it says the letter is about my "Egg Card" - this is incorrect, it's about my Egg Money Card. Does this have any influence over the validity or not of the DN? Thanks in advance for your help. SP This is page 1 This is page 2 This is page 3
