  1. We are currently in a new house and our hot water cylinder is not working but our house providers are saying because we did not service it after a year that our warranty is invalid and they will not repair it. Is this correct. We had a visual check done on it and all was ok. Where do we stand on this
  2. Hi bet I'm in wrong place, hope someone will move me to the correct place need some advice. I live in a three story block of flats a new tenant moved in below me around 18 months ago, I recently received a complaint from the housing officer regarding my washing machine being on during the night, its on a timer to start during the cheap rates times economy 7 once a week, it sits in the kitchen on a concrete floor. The tenant claims he can hear said washing machine, the housing officer has told me to stop using the machine and only use it in the day. Ive been using this machine since the tenant moved in as I said 18 months ago and well before that, what I don't understand is why has it only become a problem now I feel there is some aggregating going on regards to the noise level can the housing officer tell me to stop using washing machine with out checking first whether it really is a problem and not just take the tenants word for it that it is. what's next my tumble dryer my fridge.
  3. ok so heres the story lol, and a short one at that.... Basically in moved in with my partner and he is claiming JSA income based(and still is), i had to make a claim also after moving from england to ireland. But i was awarded jsa contrib based. I started gettting paid in June. My partner did fill out a change in circumstances form when i applied for JSA, stating that i had moved in etc, now as in today months on we get a letter saying they have had notification of me living with him which they should already know, so now im panicing, like i do thinking well theve been paying us separatly he been getting his income based and iv been getting my contrib based. so if someone could explain to me whats gunna happemn next it would help! the letter just stated that i give my name, national insurance number and date of birth and date of claim. help!! Is this an error on their part? Surely me and my partner arnt responsible for them being lacks a daisy in not updating their system quicker....??? My initial worry is them saying we owe them money... i think to much lol
