  1. Hi, My girlfriend works at Arvato, Swansea. She received a 'Notice to Keeper' dated 10/5/18, claiming she failed to display her permit on 3/5/18. Claiming £100, reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days. She has a permit to park in the area in question (Arvato (103), Sandringham Park, Swansea, SA70EA. She can't recall not displaying it on the day. Normally displays it every day. The photos provided by Millenium don't show the left hand corner of the windscreen, so I'm not sure they are valid evidence? She appealed to Millenium, with photos of her valid pass, but they've turned it down on 12/6/18. I'm a little worried about that, as I thought we had more time to appeal to the IAS, Reading it now, it appears we only had 21 days, which would be 2 days ago. Thanks in advance, Joe
  2. Hi there, looking for some advice on how best to handle this situation. We bought a new house, but rented it for 3 months prior to completion. We did not live in the house until the completion date, so the gas and electricity meters were started that day, with OVO energy, which was the same meter readings given by the previous owners, when they left. Unbeknown to me, the previous owner had given Eon (her supplier) my name and they have been contacting me to pay just over £300. I have spoken to EON on the telephone, to put them in the picture and have returned emails, but they kept sending the demands. They have now sent it to Arvato, who have strangely said that the balance is £40 They obviously have no signed contract or anything from me, as they only know my name from the previous owner. What is the best course of action? Thanks in advance
  3. Hello, I signed up for a noddle credit report, I have one default maker on my report. I had an H&M credit account which I stupidly defaulted on, the amount is £120.00 and the default date is 11/04/2013; it’s been sold to Arvato Financial Solutions. I do want to pay the debt off in full but I really don’t want to pay it to Arvato Financial Solutions. I was going to write or email H&M and ask them to buy the debt back off Arvato Financial Solutions, so I can pay them (H&M) directly. I will also inform H&M that full payment will be made on the condition, that H&M promise in writing to remove the default marker off my credit report. I just wanted to ask, if this is a correct way to resolve this debt. If not I would be extremely grateful for any advice. Many thanks Ps: I know this forum is fantastic and has helped thousands of people, so I made a tiny donation to show my appreciation.
  4. Does anyone know anything about these people Arvato? They are "offering" to come out to visit my daughter over her NPower debt. They are making it sound like a "helpful" service but i suspect they will strong arm her. PLEASE ADVISE
  5. Hi I defaulted on a Welcome Finance Loan many years back. I later claimed back the PPI and it reduced the figure I owed to £2051.91. The debt has now been sold on to Arvato financial solutions. They have not every contacted me for payment even though they have all my details, as I am paying off another loan via them. The debt has previously appeared on my credit history with noddle but it has now dropped off. I am planning to borrow from a family member an amount that will allow me to pay all my debts, so I can have a clear credit history for 1 year. I will be paying my family member off over 2 years with interest. The question why should I borrow money of them to pay Arvato if they are not chasing me for payment and if it does not appear on my credit history. Can anyone explain to me why I am not being hounded by Avrato for the debt??? Thanks Dave
  6. Hello there I wonder if anyone can help with this. I am considering buying a new car in the next month or so, and thought I would check out my noddle report before doing so. I noticed a default on my account in the name of Arvato Financial Solutions LTD T/A Buchanan Clark & Wells. The date of birth is over 20 years out and I don't remember ever having any dealings with this company. I logged it on the noddle site as incorrect today, stating that I don't know what it is. I'm wondering if I should contact this company as well? I have searched for some kind of address for them, but as I don't know what I'm looking for, I cant find anything. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks
  7. I have a outstanding debt of 465£ and i have no job , can i negotiate a way to pay back and how shall i do this? I don't have a lot of money but would be willing to pay 40£ back a month least until my circumstances change for the better. The debt is to arvato limited.
  8. Firstly my apologies if this has been answered previously - I've done a little bit of searching for similar stories, but not found anything close enough and I'm not clear enough on terminology to be more thorough. Basically a few months back I wrote to cancel a web hosting package and domain names. The company wants an online cancellation and has it in it's terms and conditions, but without internet access I had no way of doing so and I was moving house, so I put it in writing and included my new address. I never heard anything back. In April, I got an invoice via email for ~£60 for the hosting and domain names I wanted cancelled. This invoice had my old address on it, so at this point I knew my letter had been ignored or lost. I tried talking to the company about this, argued that I wasn't liable since I'd told them to cancel, that cooling off periods should apply etc. I've gotten nowhere, they keep saying they have no record of my letter etc. Now, since I've still not paid the invoice (which is still addressed to my old home address) they've passed me on to a DCA called Arvato. So far all I've had is an email from Arvato asking them to contact me. I was a bit cheeky and replied asking who is the person they addressed the email to and why did they want to contact them. At this point I don't really know what happens next. I've had nothing in writing from Arvato, and presumably letters will go to my old address. I don't really want to pay what I feel is an unjust charge, but at the same time I don't want my credit history affected since it should be fairly ok. Is this even considered credit, since it's an unpaid invoice for service upfront? So, what should I do? Just sit and wait? Call the DCA? Pay up? And since this has already gone to a DCA, has it already affected my credit rating? Thanks in advance.
