I have recently changed role at work and now work an alternate week with a colleague. One week Monday to Friday, the next Tuesday to Saturday and so on. I am full-time and work 37 hours per week.
When we are allocated our annual leave we get the bank holidays added on and then these are booked off as they occur. As I won't be working every Monday and it will depend how my shift falls, will I still be entitled to the full bank holiday allowance and get to use the remainder elsewhere? Or will I just 'lose' the Mondays I don't work?
Any advice appreciated as I want to discuss with my employer but want to know if I have any 'legal' entitlement so to speak.
