  1. Hi, I've just been issued with a fixed penalty notice which I suspect is not fair. We live on quite a narrow street, with a very wide (c.20 foot) grass verge in front of the houses. This grass verge is owned by the council, but some residents have put in tarmac driveways covering the length of the verge between the houses and the road. One house with such a driveway is (and has been for about a year) unoccupied. The landlord occasionally comes to do stuff to it, but the drive is almost always empty, especially overnight. Moreover, there is space for both our car and his on the drive
  2. The LL has sent me a section151 notice seeking possession. He has already sent a section 21 notice is april. I thought that nothing else can be sent until the section 21 notice expires which is on 27/8/2012. I have also found out that the LL has cancelled my deposit protection back in March which I understand makes the other notices null and void. I am taking him to court for compensation regarding the deposit and have been told that I will probably win, the other notice says that he will apply to the court for an eviction order after the 27.7.2012. plse help
  3. I received one of these for parking my car on a drive for which i am part owner , we have houses to the rear to which there is a gate allowing them access to the rear of there gardens off their road , so they have no use of the gate on our drive so not stopping any access to properties. nobody called asking for access at my property and have been parking like this for over 4 years with no problems should i take to court.
