HI All, I need some advise. I have purchased a new iPhone from Wow Camera https://www.wowcamera.com/ on 17th January, the phone was received on 23rd January. Managed to syncronised with my iTunes and then phone started switching off every minute or so. Called Apple who said to either have a new software installed in an Apple shop by they would recommend to have the phone changed. Sent the phone back to Wow Camera without wiping the phone clean as couldn't as phone was switching off, my info were anyway protected by the pin code. Apple said this was ok as reseller can overwrite the phone bypassing the pin code. Wow camera has initially asked me access PIN of the phone which would give them access to all my emails message and so on. is now taking very long time to provide a new phone and or refunding the money as they say the phone as it is is just a piece of plastic. They refusing to call apple to have information on how to wipe the phone. I am stuck with no phone, missing £720 and a lot of frustration. Please can you advise on my next step?

I recently attended a court hearing to get a writ stayed as it was enforced by a company who claimed to have purchased the debt July 15, however as they are not recognised on the original claim the judge told them they have no legal stake on the ccj. I am aware the claimant was used in name only and the 3rd party have been involved from the start. I would like if possible to know what action if any can I do to stop them now applying to court to have the claimant details changed. As i have a claim for illegal eviction, unlawful entry of property, removal if property to submit against claimant i do not want the ccj to change details. They are aware I have this claim to submit. for info; claimant never once attended court claimant still wont respond to any correspondence i send the deed of assignment was alledgedly done in July 15 and sent to me in Sept 15 No notice sent from claimant to confirm debt sold - even after I have written to the claimant to confirm. payments sent to claimant that the 3rd is now asking for proof of so they can consider whether to reduce the balance. threatening interest when no interest awarded on claim.

Hi all, Thankyou for providing an excellent forum to alleviate my stress levels. My question is regarding a Statutory Demand received which has been posted through my letter box. I first received a letter to say a process server had called at my address to serve me with the SD on several occassions without success (I am at home most of the time and have CCTV which does not agree with that statement), that he would call again at a certain date and time to serve it personally and if I failed to meet him that the demand would be posted through my letter box or advertised in a local newspaper by way of substituted service. About a week later the server called to my address and put the demand through my letter box. Am I correct in saying that he should have applied to the court for an order for substituted service or has the rules changed lately? The SD appears to have been prepared correctly by a solicitor acting on behalf of Barclays bank. Many thanks in advance.
