Hello, My sister has had a incident with my travel card. When she was exiting the station a travel officer caught her using my card. She admitted to the travel officer that she had used her husbands travel card as she did not know it was mine. She had also informed him that he did not know her taking it. She admitted to using it, and gave all her personal information. He informed her that she would recieve a letter and now we have recieved that letter. The letter states that she was reported 26th of October 2017 failing to produce a valid ticket, pass or photocard for the journey. The facts of the incident are being considered and they are advising that legal proceedings may be taken against her . In order for them to deal with our case correctly they want us to fill out the form on the reverse side. We do not wish for her to be prosecuted and she has never been convicted before regarding anything. I have not sent her appeal yet but I would like some advice before i send it This is what I wrote in her appeal: Dear Sir / Madam I would like to inform you that all these years I have been living in the UK, I have never been part of such an incident as well as I have never been a part of any criminal activity and most certainly never fare dodged. I feel so ashamed and depressed because of my ignorant decision. It was not something I neither planned nor did intentionally; rather it was more in the heat of the moment. It has been a very stressful period for me and my husband since he is working full time and I am on maternity leave alone with toddler and baby during the days. I literally have one free day a week when my husband has a rest day from his job, which lately I have been spending on gathering necessities for my children and relatives regarding our travel in November. Therefore when I was to enter the station I notice that I am not carrying my own pocket book and I had already reached the entrance. There was a long queue behind me stressing me so I panicked and used the card that was in the pocket book which I thought initially was my husbands. After this whole incident I feel even more stressed, distraught sad but mostly ashamed. I have had so much trouble sleeping and I barely have enough energy to take care of my kids. I am so afraid of what will happen to me. I will co-operate with you to the fullest and you have my guarantee that this will never be repeated. I would like to make you aware that there is no excuse for what I did and I am ready to pay the maximum fine for my mistake. I wish one day in the near future to return to work and continue my job search after starting a family, and a conviction would destroy my chances of finding a decent job to support and help provide for my family. I beg and wish for you to have some understanding of my current situation and we can find our way towards a settlement. If anyone can please read this through and advise me what I need to add and if there is someway we can settle this without her getting convicted? I left my apartment in such a rush and quickly picked up my keys, my purse and what i thought was my pocket book from the kitchen table, since I was already late for my vaccine appointment, when I was to enter the station I notice that I am not carrying my own pocket book and I had already reached the entrance. Since I did not have my own card and I know that i could pay for my ticket due to that I did not have my bank card or any cash with me since they were in my pocket book. Over the last couple of years Pay Day Loans have not had a good time. Since the Financial Conduct Authority took over from the OFT - they have reined in the dreadful practices used by this industry. Many of the companies have left the industry altogether, the rest are having to abide by some very strict regulations. There have been lots of fines issued and borrowers have been compensated for some of their dreadful experiences. We are now seeing quite a few caggers report back that they have finally removed themselves from the clutches of these companies. Make sure you aren't one that finds themselves IN their clutches this year !!

Ah it has come to the time that i along with 3 other colleagues have had to take our company to an employment tribunal. Let me give you some background details first. I work For a company that provides security for holiday camps, march through november. i started last march finished november then restarted in march, and have jsut finished again now. I will resume my position next march. On avg i work 45 hrs a week. I didnt have to apply for my job i got it because of who i am. I have never received the following which is why im taking them to tribunal: No particulars of employment (despite a written request) Infrequent payslips - year 1 i received none at all, yea 2 ive received 4/5 altogether Not received a p60 - nor a p45 (when questioned the director stated he did not know our employment status, however we must be seasonal as we receive a p45) No holiday pay for year 1 or year 2 ( when questioned the director said it was 'rolled up' which i know to be unlawful as its not described on the few payslips we have - and as no particular of employment its not on there, and certainly wasnt verbally agreed) We work in a loud environment, and i have developed tinitus, they have not provided any hearing protection It clearly states on their website they provide training, and uniform including safety equipment - yet none has been provided and ive had to purchase everything myself No sick pay, not even SSP - nor info on how to claim and ive had to take off several days throughout my employment without pay. Often i work late in the night especially when writing reports of the nights incidents- we get no health check info at all. I was promoted this year, ive had to interview, hire and fire people with zero training. Instead to ensure i comply with the law i have had to study employment law without pay. NO Training at all with this job, despite it saying on their website its provided!! please note i have also had to educate and train my manager who is also a claimant. We have enver filled out a Working time directive opt out form - i worked for 7 weeks solid without a day off as there was no-one to cover shifts. I got my promotion appx apr 16th, was told my pay increase would happen in 4-6weeks. it took more like 11 weeks, and only because i persistently text messaged the director. It was back dated to august 1st. I must point out at this stage that we asked the director and area manager for extra men none were provided; we asked for meetings they never happened. We have only seen Now, I filled out the ET1 and the case has been accepted, and im waiting on their response. I have spoken to ACAS and they have said i should write an Schedule of loss. I know theres alot of claims here so how do i go about it. I think on average i work appx 40-45hrs/week. How does my case stand up - i cant find anything similar through online searchs? Also how do i begin to write up a schedule of loss for these claims? what kind of money should i be requesting? any help would be greatly appreciated. NB/EDIT = I am also thinking about legal representation who would be the best to speak to regarding this problem - ACAS says i can still appoint a rep - there are 3 other people attached to my claim - would my rep, cover them too?
