Hi guys, this is an odd one, bare with me. A couple hired a car and the same night broke their window. Few minutes later the gang they had planned with drove away the car. Some time later when the tracker was removed or when it was secure they alerted the couple. Few minutes later they called the police. The story the couple used is we were asleep, we were woken by some noise and after looking for the cars etc we realized the keys were missing and that the window was broken. Received a standard letter template from the Co-op, hopefully attached? However, it wasn't until I re-read their missive that I noticed the wording they used. "Continued misuse of your account means that we can impose restrictions to your banking facilities, including your debit and credit cards, or even close your account" Now considering this is only the second time I have bounced a direct debit, I find their language very threatening, quite how depriving me of £30 is ever going to force me to not "misuse" my account is totally beyond me? My employer punishes people that are late in the mornings by docking rounded-up 15 minute segments from their lunchbreak. So, if a car accident that causes a tailback, heavy weather, etc. (over which of course you have no control) makes you late by just 1 minute, they dock you 15 minutes from your lunch. The lunchbreak is one hour. So to reiterate: Employer (professional services, over 300 staff) has a clocking system for everyone below director level. If you clock in at 9:01am, they send you an email telling you to take a 45 minute lunch. If you're late by 17 minutes, you lose 30. S
