Hi folks, we joined a debt managemetn plan with immediate finance a couple of months back after over a year trying to directly sort things with our creditors, I know that immediate finance have been paying £1 per month to each as agreed to keep the debt alive, however my wife has rung me to say one of the catalogues has sold the debt to a debt collector who is now chasing for it, is this legal? as I understand it they are not allowed to as long as you have made an effort to pay? will be ringing immediate financial when I get home to see what is happening but wo

Hi, I would like to switch from BT to Plusnet to reduce my outgoings a little.The BT account is in my husbands name and as he now has a default on his credit file I'm wondering if this will affect my chances of setting up a new account in my name with Plusnet or any other provider.The BT account is clean as I am the bill payer.
